Guidance for Registering for Michigan CEC’s Conference Online
Step 1: Log In or Create an Account
Click "Log In" even if you are new to CEC's membership and event registration system.
- Existing users: Log in using your CEC username and password.
- New users: Click "Register Now" at the bottom of the login page to create a new account. You will be asked to provide your email address and other required information before proceeding.
Step 2: Select the Registrant
After logging in, scroll to the Select Contact field.
You may:
- Register yourself, or
- Register another individual, provided that person already has a CEC account.
Step 3: Complete Contact Information
Work through the contact information and demographic sections, ensuring all required fields are completed accurately before continuing.
Step 4: Choose Your Registration Type
Carefully review the available registration options before making your selection.
- Current CEC members will automatically default to the registration category that corresponds with their membership type.
- Nonmembers should select the registration category that best matches their professional role.
Selecting the correct registration option will ensure you receive the appropriate conference rate.
Step 5: Answer Conference Questions
You will then be asked to complete several conference-related questions, including items such as:
- Accessibility or accommodation requests
- Dietary requirements
- Other event-specific information
Please complete all required questions before proceeding.
Step 6: Review Your Shopping Cart
After completing the registration questions, you will be taken to your shopping cart.
If you have a discount or promotional code, enter it in the Promotion Code field before checking out.
Review your registration details carefully to ensure everything is correct.
Step 7: Complete Payment
Proceed to checkout and enter your payment information. Once your payment has been successfully processed, your registration will be complete, and you will receive a confirmation email for the Michigan CEC Conference.
